1 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp of lemon/ lime juice

How To Make Buko Pie or Coconut Pie (Mini Buko Pie)
Ingredients:
2 cups shredded young coconut meat (you can get 1 cup on each bag. Drain it well. Save 1/2 cup of the coconut juice)
1 small can evaporated milk or 1/2 cup
1 can condensed milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup of cornstarch diluted in 1/2 cup of coconut juice
pie crust
tart shell (you can use pie crust for the shell by cutting it into small circles that would fit the foil)
- Cook in medium heat the coconut, evaporated milk, condensed milk, sugar, diluted cornstarch.
- Continue stirring and when it starts to curdle, change to low heat.
- Continue stirring until it becomes pasty/ thick.
- Cut the pie crust into small circles, good enough to cover the tart shells.
- Put filling then cover with the pie crust by pressing the edges.
- To better seal it, press the edges with a fork.
- Brush top with a beaten egg.
- Bake at 400 F for 15 mins.
- Let them cool on a rack before serving.

2 tbsp flour
1 egg
- Removed the tail of the shrimps and finely chop
- Add all the ingredients and mix well
- Put a tbsp of the mixture on a lumpia wrapper/ spring roll pastry
- Roll and seal with a dab of water
- Fry in medium heat until golden brown
- Put fried egg roll on a paper towel to drain excess oil
- Best served with sweet chili sauce

How To Cook Pancit or Pancit Canton
This recipe is for 10-15 people. Adjust the ingredients depending on what you needed.
Ingredients:
600 g of Vermicelli Bean Noodle/ sotanghon (soak in water for 10 mins)
267 g of dry canton
2 lbs of chicken boiled and shredded (save chicken stock)
8 cups chicken stock (6 cups only if no canton)
1 chicken cube
1/2 cup of soy sauce (depending on your taste)
1 tsp garlic pepper powder
For the veggies, depending on how much you want it. You can also use only the vegetables you want or alternate with other veggies:
1 cup mushroom
2 stalks of celery chopped
1/4 cabbage
1 cup of diagonally sliced beans
1 cup carrots
1/2 of red bell pepper sliced
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp sesame seed
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
garlic 3 cloves minced
1/4 of big onion sliced
- Saute onion and garlic in 1 tbsp of oil, then add chicken, season with 1 tsp of salt and 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper
- When chicken turned brownish, set aside 3/4 of it.
- In the same pan with the 1/4 of chicken, add 1 tbsp of oil
- Add carrots, bell pepper and mushroom
- Add 2 tbsp of water, 1 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of salt
- When half way done, add beans and celery, then add 1 tsp of garlic pepper powder and 1 tsp of sesame oil
- Add cabbage, then set aside
- Bring to boil 8 cups of chicken stock, chicken, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1 chicken cube, 1 tsp garlic pepper powder (season according to taste)
- When constantly boiling, add the vermicelli/ pansit, then add dry canton
- Continue stirring until it absorbs all the water.
- Add half of the veggies
- Use the other half to garnish on top
- Squeeze some lemon/ calamansi/ calamondin (optional)

1 lb of shrimp
lemon
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp of salt
1 tsp of garlic pepper powder
1 egg

oil for frying
- Mix shrimp, salt, garlic-pepper powder, flour, egg
- Marinate for 15 mins
- After marinating, add 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper and squeeze 1/2 of lemon, mix well
- In a low heat pan, add oil
- Fry shrimp, don't overcook, set aside
- In the same pan, saute onion
- Once onion is cooked, add shrimp,
- You can squeeze more lemon if you want. Garnish with spring onion.

2 tsp salt (adjust according to your taste)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (you can use annato or achuete powder)

- Saute onion in oil, add ginger, then add shrimp
- Add 1/2 tsp garlic pepper and 1 tsp salt
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil
- Add 1 can of coconut milk/cream
- Add additional1 tsp of salt according to your taste
- Add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
- Bring to boil then add the whole packet of spinach
- Cover for a minute to let spinach absorb the coconut milk.

Pork binagoongan is a Philippine delicacy. There's a lot of ways to cook it it.
Ingredients:
2.2 lbs of pork belly
onion
spring onion

1 tbsp of oil
4-5 tbsp of sauteed shrimp paste/ alamang (I used the sweet shrimp paste/ alamang of Barrio Fiesta, but you can use whatever brand)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tomato chopped
2 tbsp lemon juice
- Saute onion in oil, add ginger.
- Add pork and 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of pepper- garlic powder.
- When pork is almost tender, add tomato, then add sweet shrimp paste/ alamang.
- When pork is tender, add 1 tsp of sugar then cook for another minute.
- Add 2 tbsp of lemon juice.
- Add spring onion after turning the heat off.

Ingredients:
5 eggs
4 tbsp of finely chopped carrot
1 piece of finely chopped button mushroom
1 tbsp of finely chopped onion

1 piece toasted bacon chopped (optional)
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of ground black garlic- black pepper powder

- Combine all ingredients, mix well.
- Heat the pan, add small amount of oil.
- Put a thin mixture and allow to cook in low heat.
- Roll the mixture up with a use of spatula and spoon.
- Add another thin layer and repeat procedure with the rest of the mixture.
- Cut the omelet diagonally then serve.

- Fry in medium heat until golden brown.
- Let banana roll rest on a strainer to remove excess oil then serve.

Chicken adobo is a Philippine delicacy. There are different types of adobo and there are also a lot of ways to cook it. I am sharing this recipe which I learned from my mom.
Ingredients:
2.5 lbs chicken
1 tbsp oil
minced garlic
onion
ginger
black pepper
5 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp vinegar
Optional: chicken cube, carrot, potato
- Saute garlic, onion, ginger, chicken
- Add back pepper and chicken cube (optional)
- Simmer for 10 mins then add 3 tbsp soy sauce and add additional 2 tbsp as you go along.
- Once chicken is tender, add carrot, potato
- Once vegetables are cooked, add 1 tbsp of sugar, cover for 10-15 seconds
- Add 1 tbsp of vinegar, stir, cover for another 10 seconds then done.
- Best served with steamed rice.

How To Make Yummy Crispy Pork Belly
Crispy pork belly ingredients:
Pork belly (boiled in water with 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of whole black pepper, 2-3 leaves of dried basil/laurel)
1 tbsp of fine salt
1 tsp of pepper- garlic combo
1/2 to 1 tsp of five spice powder (depending on how strong the flavor you want) You can buy this is any asian store
1/2 tsp of sugar
- Boil pork belly in water with salt, whole black pepper, and laurel/ bay leaf until tender
- Once tender, remove from water then let it cool
- Mix the ingredients then rub it on pork belly including sides except skin
- Prick skin with a fork then pat it dry with a paper towel
- Rub skin with salt preferably rock salt
- Bake at 400 F for 1 hr
- Let it cool and serve

BANANA LANGKA PIE
Banana langka pie is a famous dessert or snack for Filipinos. This recipe is inspired by my favorite Jollibee banana langka pie.
Ingredients:
puff pastry sheet 1
whole plantain/ banana diced
5 pieces of langka or jackfruit diced 2 tbsp of sugar
- Mix banana, langka and sugar thoroughly
- Cut the pastry according to desired size
- Flatten the pastry with a rolling pin.
- Put desired amount of ingredients to the pastry
- Seal the edges with a fork
- Fry in medium heat to allow the filling to cook without burning the pastry
- Fry until golden brown
- Put on a paper towel to allow excess oil to drain
- Let it cool, the serve.
