 How To Make Yummy Crispy Pork Belly




Crispy pork belly ingredients:
 Pork belly (boiled in water with 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of whole black pepper, 2-3 leaves of dried basil/laurel)
1 tbsp of fine salt
1 tsp of pepper- garlic combo
1/2 to 1 tsp of five spice powder (depending on how strong the flavor you want) You can buy this is any asian store
1/2 tsp of sugar

  • Boil pork belly in water with salt, whole black pepper, and laurel/ bay leaf until tender
  • Once tender, remove from water then let it cool
  • Mix the ingredients then rub it on pork belly including sides except skin
  • Prick skin with a fork then pat it dry with a paper towel
  • Rub skin with salt preferably rock salt
  • Bake at 400 F for 1 hr
  • Let it cool and serve
